Detox Diet - 4 Top reasons why you should avoid wheat
Most detox diets recommend that you exclude products made with wheat and yet we are always told that wheat fiber is good for the intestines. So why do you need to exclude it when on a detox diet?

1. overload

Wheat is probably one of the most consumed foods. Many people eat three times a day wheat. Wheat cereal for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch, pasta or pizza for dinner with snacks of muffins, cakes and biscuits in between.

Wheat is a relatively new food for the human race. The old man, hunter-gatherers, living on the meat of the animals they hunted, vegetables and wild fish, fruits, nuts and seeds they met. It was not until the agricultural period that began about 12,000 years ago as wheat and other grains were introduced.

Genetic testing has found that people were simply not suitable for the introduction of wheat in the diet.

With so much wheat in our diet, it can become a toxin and detox diet is to reduce toxins.

2. gluten allergy

Wheat contains gluten, a protein family that up to one in three may be sensitive to. Gluten is also found in rye, barley and oats. Gluten in oats, however, is very different and can be tolerated by many people who react to other gluten grains.

3. gliadin and leaky gut
The researchers detected gliadin, gluten principle type of wheat, in the blood of 15% of the people they tested.Your digestive system provides a barrier between the food you eat and your blood, but if this barrier falls gliadin failure enters the bloodstream.

Many things can cause intestinal barrier "leaks." Drugs, alcohol, food allergies or sensitivities, constipation, gastric infections, aging, nutritional deficiencies are some of the things that can cause damage to the sensitive and delicate lining.

Once gliadin leaks across the barrier the immune system reacts to it and it becomes a toxin. Your detoxification system has to deal with this particular toxin instead of the other toxins you WNAT to get rid of. So all gluten grains including spelled, an ancient wheat, kamut and triticale and rye wheat and barley should be avoided on a detox diet.

4. Hard to digest

Wheat because of its complex structure is difficult to digest and almost all normal people are not able to absorb a large amount of wheat starch. These starches are fermented by bacteria in the digestive system. The fermentation product of gas and acid that damage the coating.

People with many intestinal disorders such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, diverticulitis, celiac disease improve when they avoid wheat gluten and other grains. Many people are surprised that they do not react to wheat or it causes digestive problems when they start eating again after being on a detox diet.

What to eat instead.

Like so many people have allergies or sensitivities and wheat gluten, it became much easier to find products that do not contain it. Manufacturers produced cereals, pasta and bread made from gluten-free grains.

Other cereals or beans as seeds that can be eaten include brown rice, quinoa, millet, amaranth, buckwheat, flour gram (chickpeas or chickpea flour) and corn.

The detox diet is rich in fruits and vegetables, seeds and other grains that will provide enough fiber for the digestive system works well.

Thus, although the exclusion of wheat when on a detox diet can take a little planning, you will always be able to eat tasty meals. It will be well worth it when you find that many niggling symptoms such as gas and bloating disappear and you feel so much better.
