The New Stuff

Migraines can and Lupus Vulgaris really be cured?

Migraines can and Lupus Vulgaris really be cured?
Dr. Mark suffered from a hereditary condition of migraine. Plagued by pain, dizziness and nausea, he sought the help of the best men of German medicine. Their answers were identical: "Nothing can be done."

For a scientist, those were fighting words. The young doctor
plunged into research.

He found himself on the avenue leading nutrition, and there, by trial and error, he evolved a diet that brought him complete relief. The slogan tired dish, "Nothing can be done," really meant "nothing has been done."

Dr. Mark began to use his new therapy on his migraine patients and was jubilant to see the same results. But even more spectacular was his discovery shortly afterwards when a migraine patient, whose job was in jeopardy due to his repeated absences, begged the young doctor for help. Dr. Mark noticed the disease eating away the mans eyelids, cheek and nose "Lupus vulgaris." Nothing could be done for this. Or rather, nothing has been done. In any case, the mans migraine was more important now. Dr. Mark prescribed his diet and sent the man's house.

Soon after, the patient returned. "And how is the migraine?" the doctor asked. "Gone, all gone!" cried the happy man. "I have not missed a day of work since!" He could not control his excitement. "Doctor, did you notice anything else? My face?" Dr. Mark leaned. Was it possible - the same man? "Yes, it's true," said the patient. "My Lupus - that horrible, ugly Lupus - vanishes like a miracle," It was hard to tell who was more excited, the doctor or the patient Would the old!. disfiguring scourge of Lupas also respond to the migraine diet?

Before long Lupas patients flocked to the door of Dr. Mark, clamoring for the miracle they had heard. And wonder of wonders, the blessing repeated! Other doctors who had been echoing the timeless shibboleth of organized medicine, "Nothing can be done", were infuriated the success of Dr. Mark. They filed a complaint against him for the treatment of diseases of the skin, which was not his specialty.

"I am very proud to be punished for Lupus cure," Dr. Mark told them. He continued to heal Lupus, and in 1928, he had compiled his findings. Newspapers and magazines throughout Europe hailed the discovery, and offers from many countries descended on the young doctor. The bitterness of the medical fraternity knew no bounds. "It is not scientific!" they shouted. "My answer is very short," Mr. Mark was the answer.

"It is not scientific to cure people, to cure in-curable, then I'm not a scientist!" Why the outcry? Because even then it was more profitable to find a cure to find one. Never the less, the outcry was soon drowned out by the voice of the people, a powerful voice always triumphant. People can be deceived, can be butchered and poisoned and cheated for ages without seeming to object, until a voice of protest goes up from the crowd, and then another and another, until 'that a mighty roar sweeps across a continent.

But they say there is no cure for Lupus. You may not be too concerned about that - unless you had it. Or if a loved one suffering from it.
